SECONDMENTS WITH DIRTYFEET

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for DirtyFeet's new Secondment Program, for two placements across our 2024 Program. This is a unique opportunity to experience the DirtyFeet program hands-on, offering valuable insight into the identity and inclusive culture of our work, artists, participants, and community.

Our simple Expression of Interest (EOI) has closed for 2024 and will re-open in 2025.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Emerging dancers in their first 1-3 years of professional practice
New graduates
Artists wishing to expand their practice to be more inclusive and accessible

DirtyFeet encourages applications from emerging artists identifying as First Nations, CaALD, Deaf or Disabled, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?

This secondment opportunity spans throughout our annual program, engaging in our projects and activities throughout the calendar year. Successful applicants must be able to take part in a number of program activities.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

Secondees will be able to take part in our professional arts inclusive training sessions, community workshops, our emerging makers project, observation in research labs and creative developments, company warm-ups, and production assistance.

THINGS TO KNOW

Every endeavour is made to include the secondee in practical tasks and discussions during the program, but some stages of the process may be observation only.
Secondment positions are unpaid, and DirtyFeet is unable to pay for travel and accommodation costs.
