Leo Tsao is a Taiwanese Australian artist working predominantly with film and movement. His work explores queer phenomenology to challenge heteronormativity and create new modes of perception. He is passionate about exploring the intersection between community activism and experimental art practice.

He was granted an exchange scholarship and studied visual communication majoring in narrative film at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2015. He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Design, achieving first class honours from UNSW Art & Design.

Leo is also active in community organising, running events and workshops for the queer, trans and POC community.
