Brigitta Oldereid

Brigitta is a 20-year-old dancer, choreographer and teacher based on the Central Coast Australia. Since dancing at the age of 3, she has dedicated her life to the art of dance. 
In 2015 she trained and graduated from the National College of Dance after 2 years of full-time training and gained her Diploma of Elite Dance Performance and Certificate 4 in Dance. 
In 2012 she toured Japan performing a variety of works with the Central Dance Company. 

At age 18 she was accepted into the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company International Dance Journey Program in Israel-Middle East where she lived and danced for 10 months. 
Performing repertoire by artistic director ‘Rami Beer’ Israel’s 68th Independence day ceremony, Holocaust memorial day live on TV at the Ghettos fighter house museum, 
MASA Final Showcase at the Zichri Theatre and worked with choreographers Ben Bach and Meghan Doheny on original pieces, Cullberg ballet repertoire by Matz Ek under the direction of Yamit Koshef and trained in Ohad Naharin’s GAGA technique directed by Lotem Regev. 

Brigitta had the opportunity to choreograph two original contemporary works of her own in Israel and it was during this time she discovered her drive and love for choreographing. 
Her pieces were performed at the Zichri Theatre for the Nitzotzot Choreography Showcase.
