
Trish Wood graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance). She was selected to be part of the graduate company, LINK Dance Company under the direction of Michael Whaites. The company engaged in an overseas tour, performing in Prague as part of the Prague Dance Festival and in Yekaterinburg, Russia, as part of the Small World Festival. In 2007 Trish received a grant from ArtsWA to participate in the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna and also the Anouk Van Dijk workshop in Amsterdam. Trish then worked with Clare Dyson on her new work, Being There which premiered in Berlin as part of the Tanzfabrik Festival and in Australia at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Brisbane. Last year Trish joined Tasdance to perform One for Sorrow, Two for Joy on a regional tour of Tasmania and Sydney. Trish has also worked with Sol Ulbrich, Juliet Shelley (NZ) and Andrew Marcus (USA).
